opportunity for local students to gain a higher education as well as industry qualifications as they study between school and the workplace.
On March 7 we hosted an evening at NMIT profiling maori in the aquaculture industry, encouraging more whanau to take up the challenge for striving for a Diploma in Aquaculture.
We are currently establishing a Temp Agency. Our experience has shown that many of our whanau have skills in this area but often do not get the opportunity to get a start in these fields. We now have a database of 200+ candidates and we want to ensure that we can provide more opportunities that will lead to permanent work.
