Annual General Meeting 2012

This years Annual General Meeting will not be held over Easter Weekend, and is to be held on Saturday 21st April. More details to follow closer to the time.

REMEMBER !

Annual reports will not be distributed in 2012, in the interests of saving costs financially and environmentally as notified in the last panui.  This year the annual report will be available online on our website www.nrait.co.nz and also via email.  If you haven't already done so, please contact us with your email address so that we can distribute yours.  Please contact selina @nrait.co.nz to be added to our email database.

The Trust intends to print only a small quantity of physical reports for delivery to owners at the AGM.  For those of you that do not have access to the website or email, please contact the office and we will send you a copy.

2012 Education Grants & Scholarships

Well it's nearly that time of year again, when many of you will be applying for an Education Grant or Scholarship.  

The board of trustee's have recently reviewed the Education Policy and have decided to make some new and exciting changes for 2012!  Some of the new grants available this year are as follows;

  1. Supreme Scholarship - Maximum of one award per annum of $7,000 for a maximum of 3 years.
  2. Post Graduate Scholarship - Maximum of two awards per annum of $3,000 for a maximum of 2 years.
  3. Undergraduate Scholarship - Maximum of three awards per annum of $2,000 for a maximum of 3 years.
  4. Tertiary Grant - Actual awards are at discretion of the board, subject to a maximum annual award of $10,000.  Individual awards up to $1,000.
  5. Adult Education Grant - This grant is open to adult members whom are registered with the Trust. Course fees paid up to a maximum of $1,000.
  6. Secondary School (NCEA) Grant - This grant is open to secondary school students whom are registered with the Trust.  Individual NCEA exam fees paid up to a maximum award of $500.00 paid upon receipt of fees invoice.
  7. Individual Sports And Cultural Grants - Open to members registered with the Trust. Individual awards up to $500.00 paid upon receipt of confirmation from a National Organisation for an International or National event.

KIMI-Update

Kimi has come to the end of a very full year with a number of recruitments completed and a solid base of Clientele for HR services.  Successfully establishing links with local and national tertiary institutes and providing assistance to a number of whanau for CV support and work opportunities.

As we enter an exciting new phase for Kimi we wish to take the time to thank the wider whanau for their tautoko during the year.
