Stevie-Rae Hart

2015 Post Graduate Scholarship Recipient

Stevie-Rae completed a Bachelor of Laws in 2015 and is currently studying towards Honours in International Relations at Victoria University.


She is studying a wide range of papers covering issues relating to diplomacy, economics, statebuilding and war. She plans to be admitted as a solicitor in 2016.


Stevie-Rae is working as a research assistant producing a digest summarising all Māori Land Court cases over the past five years and spends time volunteering for JustSpeak, a network of young people speaking to, and speaking up for a new generation of thinkers who want change in our criminal justice system.


Stevie-Rae has a strong connection to Te Tau Ihu and is looking to obtain as much experience and as many skills as possible so that she can contribute back to both her family and the region.
