The 28th AGM of the Ngāti Rārua Ātiawa Iwi Trust will be held on Saturday 15 August 2020 from 9.00am at Te Whare Taikura o Te Maatu, Motueka High School.

We warmly encourage all whānau to register and attend this important day.

Church: Our connection with spirituality has been part of our traditions for many generations.  We invite all our whānau to attend a service in Te Āhurewa, an historic and much-loved building on Te Āwhina Marae

How to attend

We encourage all owners to attend the AGM whether it be in person or via our online live stream. Travel subsidies are available for those travelling to Motueka.

Our live stream will be available on our website with a password to access the viewing from 9am on Saturday 15 August. You do not need to register if you are viewing the live stream, but will need to contact us to receive the password once it becomes available.

Travel Subsidy

Due to the change of date and as encouragement for our members to participate in our Annual General Meeting, we wish to advise of a temporary increase in travel assistance available to registered members who travel to attend our hui ā-tau.

Financial support of $200 for the purpose of travel will be distributed to kaumātua who are registered members of Ngāti Rārua Ātiawa Iwi Trust and attend the Annual General Meeting.

A travel subsidy of up to $300 per adult and up to $100 per child will be distributed to those registered members of Ngāti Rārua Ātiawa Iwi Trust who live outside Te Tau Ihu and attend the Annual General Meeting.

For registered members of Ngāti Rārua Ātiawa Iwi Trust who travel within Te Tau Ihu and attend the Annual General Meeting, a subsidy per vehicle of up to $300 to cover the cost of petrol (calculated using current Inland Revenue rates) will be available upon application and provision of relevant receipts.


Please ensure you indicate number of attendees if you are attending the AGM in person, so we know numbers for kai and accommodation.
