Ngāti Rārua Ᾱtiawa Iwi Trust

logoThe Ngāti Rārua Ᾱtiawa Iwi Trust represents a unique group of descendants from two iwi. They whakapapa back to one or more of our 94 Ngāti Rārua tupuna and 15 Te Ᾱtiawa tupuna. These ancestors are the original landowners of our Motueka homelands. As a Trust, we manage and nurture these land holdings on behalf of and for the benefit of all the descendants of the original 109 owners.

We are committed to supporting the mana of the iwi organisations our owners also belong to, the Ngāti Rārua Iwi Trust and Te Ᾱtiawa Manawhenua ki Te Tau Ihu Trust. We understand the importance of ensuring the success of these organisations and that it will impact positively on all of our owners as a hapu of these iwi.

ngati rarua logo green smlThe Ngāti Rārua collective Iwi estate is vested in the Ngāti Rārua Iwi trust. Trustees are responsible for governing this estate for the collective benefit of the Trust Membership. The strategic challenge is for the Trust to revitalise Ngāti Rārua society, economy and culture.

Te Ātiawa Manawhenua Ki Te Tau Ihu Trust (Te Ātiawa Trust) has been established to receive, hold, manage and administer the Trust Fund for every Charitable Purpose benefiting Te Ātiawa (Te Tau Ihu) whether it relates to the relief of poverty, the advancement of education or religion or any other matter beneficial to the community of Te Ātiawa (Te Tau Ihu) and all the Members of Te Ātiawa (Te Tau Ihu) irrespective of where those members reside.
